Cinnamon and ginger carrot juice for the win! Support skin and weight loss goals with this vibrant orange colored juice recipe made easily in a blender or juicer.

10 organic carrots ((1 lb), peeled, washed and ends removed)
1/2 medium cucumber
1 naval orange (skin and rind removed)
1/2 inch ginger (peeled and chopped)
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup filtered water (only if using blender method)
1/2 lemon (juice of)

Steps:

  • In a high powered juicer add the carrots, cucumber, ginger, peeled orange, and 1/2 cup filtered water. Juice then add to a pitcher and mix in the cinnamon and lemon. Pour into two glasses over ice.
  • Peal and chop the carrots and peel and slice off the ends of a cucumber (using only 1/2 the cucumber). Remove the peel and rind of an orange. Place the carrots, cucumber, ginger, orange, and cinnamon in a high-powered blender. Blend until smooth.
  • Place a mesh bag or nut bag over a large bowl. Pour the juice into the bag. Squeeze out all of the juice and discard the "meat". Pour into a glass over ice and squeeze in the lemon juice to taste.

This is a delicious juice my husband and I make for breakfast or an after-meal dessert when guests are over. It's not only delicious, but will perk up any bad day with a boost of vitamins and nutrients that you may otherwise skip out on. I hope you try it, and enjoy! Recipe makes 2 tall glasses or 4 smaller glasses of juice. You need a blender.

1 large navel orange
2 carrots, roughly chopped
½ cucumber, roughly chopped
½ cup water, or as needed
¼ cup white sugar, or to taste
1 teaspoon lemon juice

Steps:

  • Peel orange and save a 1x1-inch piece of the peel. Place orange, orange peel piece, carrots, and cucumber in a blender; pour in water. Blend until desired consistency is reached; add sugar and lemon juice. Blend until smooth, 1 to 3 minutes.
