As a child, I couldn't wait until Christmas and Thanksgiving so I could dig into the cranberry surprise! It has so many flavors, it's like a party in your mouth. I hope you absolutely love it!

- Combine cream cheese and 2 tubs whipped topping in a large bowl; mix thoroughly; set aside. Cut the cranberry sauce into 1/4-inch-thick slices; set aside.
- Melt the chocolate chips in a large metal bowl placed atop a saucepan of water over medium heat.
- Line the bottom of a 9x13 baking dish with graham crackers. Spread a 1-inch thick layer of the cream cheese mixture over the graham crackers. Top the cream cheese with cranberry sauce slices. Repeat layering until ingredients are used. Top entire dish with 1 tub whipped topping. Drizzle melted chocolate over the whipped topping. Chill in refrigerator at least 1 hour before serving.

- Pour sugar(1/2c)over the cranberries, then the nuts.
- Mix remaining ingredients
- Pour over mixture in pan.
- Bake at 350 until top is lightly brown (30-40 min).

- 1. preheat oven to 325 degrees
- 2. place filling - cranberries , chopped nuts and sugar- in bottom of pan (8x8 or 9" pie)
- 3. beat 2 eggs, add 1 cup sugar and mix.
- 4. add 1/2 cup melted butter and 1 cup flour, mix well.
- 5. pour over cranberry mixture. bake 1 hour until top is golden and not cracked.
CHRIS' CRANBERRY SURPRISE
Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a medium bowl, whisk the flour, baking soda, and ground cinnamon. In large bowl, combine the butter, dark brown sugar, and granulated sugar with a hand mixer. Beat until fluffy, about 2 minutes. Add the beaten eggs and the pomegranate juice and mix until well incorporated. Add the flour mixture in batches and beat on medium for 2 minutes, scraping the bottom and sides. With a rubber spatula, fold in the oats, coconut, and cranberries and mix well. With an ice cream scoop, form the dough into balls and place onto 2 parchment lined cookie sheet at least 1-inch apart. Bake for 14 to 15 minutes. Remove from oven and transfer to a wire rack to cool.

- preheat oven to 350 F Place berries, sugar, nuts in pan. Mis other ingredients well, pour over berries. Bank until golden brown about 1 hr. Serve warm or cold. With cream, Ice cream, whipped cream, or clotted cream. Make 2 if a teen age boy is in the house.
CRANBERRY (NUT) SURPRISE
Steps:
- Melt margarine, let it cool. Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees. Combine sugar and flour. Mix with eggs. Add melted margarine. Stir. Add remaining ingredients. Pour into well-greased 9x9 inch glass baking pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 50 minutes. Remove from oven. Cool. Cut into small squares
CRANBERRY SURPRISE

- Butter a 9" pie plate. Cover bottom with cranberries. Sprinkle sugar on top. In bowl mix together flour, sugar, melted butter, egg. Pour over cranberries. Bake in 325 degree oven about 45 minutes, or until brown and "sticky" looking. Serve with ice cream.
