1 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup prepared horseradish
1/4 cup dijon mustard
1 teaspoon hot sauce, such as Frank's
1 1/2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
30 stone crab claws, chilled

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, stir together mayonnaise, horseradish, Dijon, hot sauce, and lemon juice until well combined.
  • For serving: Pour dipping sauce into a ramekin or small bowl. Place dipping bowl on a large ice-filled platter and fan crab claws around it.

2 cups mayonnaise
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons dry mustard
1/2 cup heavy cream
Coarse salt

Steps:

  • Whisk together mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, and dry mustard in a medium bowl. Whisk in heavy cream until smooth; season with salt. If not serving immediately, refrigerate, covered, up to 1 day; whisk briefly before serving.

1/2 teaspoon rice vinegar
1/2 teaspoon prepared horseradish

1/3 cup sour cream
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon lime juice
1/8 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
CRAB LEGS:
1 pound cooked snow crab legs
1 tablespoon olive oil

  • In three separate small bowls, combine the ingredients for the dill butter sauce, horseradish chili sauce and avocado cream sauce; set aside., Brush both sides of crab legs with oil. 1 pound Snow Crab clusters, thawed if necessary
¼ cup butter
1 clove garlic, minced
1 ½ teaspoons dried parsley
⅛ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon fresh-ground black pepper

Steps:

  • Cut a slit, length-wise, into the shell of each piece of crab.

They come with small metal cups of mustard or melted butter-or both. This is the mustard sauce for which Joe's is famous.

1 tablespoon Colman's dry mustard, or more to taste,

2 pounds Alaskan king crab legs
3 tablespoons olive oil
½ cup lemon juice
1 bunch fresh parsley, chopped
2 tablespoons minced garlic
1 (12 ounce) bottle beer (i.e. Newcastle Brown Ale®)
½ cup water
1 onion, quartered

Steps:

  • In a large bowl with a cover, combine the crab legs, olive oil, lemon juice and parsley. Stir to coat the crab legs. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  • Put the garlic, beer, water and onion into a large pot. Place the crab legs in a steamer basket and set aside. Discard the marinade. Bring the beer mixture to a rapid boil, then insert the steamer basket. Cover and steam for 10 to 15 minutes, or until crab is cooked through.
