1 (.7 ounce) package dry Italian-style salad dressing mix
½ pound cooked baby shrimp

Steps:

  • In a medium bowl, mix sour cream, dry Italian-style salad dressing mix and baby shrimp. Chill in the refrigerator until serving.

A friend's mother used to make this, but with a few tweaks, I made it my own. It can be used as a dip or a spread, depending on how well you puree the ingredients.

4 cups chopped cooked shrimp
2 cups mayonnaise
4 ounces cream cheese
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped dill pickle
1/2 cup chopped celery
1 dash lemon juice
salt and pepper
garlic powder

Steps:

  • Mix cream cheese and mayonnaise in food processor until smooth.
  • Process other ingredients.
  • Serve cold with chips or crackers.

The best shrimp dip for dipping chips, crackers, or even can be used as a filling for cream puffs.

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 Package Cream Cheese
1/2 Cup Mayo
2 Tablespoons Horseradish
1/4 Cup Milk
1/4 Cup Onion (cut into small chunks)
1 Can Tiny Shrimp (drained)

Steps:

  • In a medium sized mixing bowl, add all the ingredients.
  • Mix until smooth.
  • Serve with ripple chips or crackers or it can be used as a filling for Shrimp Puffs.
  • Cover tightly and store in refrigerator. Best to use it within a couple or so days.
  • Mix well before serving. Can garnish with more Shrimps on top.
