CHINESE HAMBURGER CASSEROLE
This is a recipe that came from our church's first cookbook more than 30 years ago. We like to serve it with cooked rice and a vegetable.

Steps:
- Brown meat in skillet.
- Add remaining ingredients except noodles.
- Stir well and pour into a 2 quart casserole.
- Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
- Uncover and bake another 30 minutes.
- Sprinkle noodles over top and return to oven and bake an additional 15 minutes.
- Serves 8.
CHINESE HAMBURGER CASSEROLE
My husband loves casseroles and this is one of his favorites. Its easy to make and lasts him and I quite a few meals.

- 1. brown hamburger in skillet, drain and set aside
- 2. In large casserole dish, mix together the soups, onions, celery and soy sauce and mushrooms
- 3. Add meat to the soup mixture, mix well . Add the water and rice.
- 4. Bake in 350 oven for 1 hour or until rice is done. Cover top with crispy chow mien noodles and let rest for 10 min before serving.

- put in dutch oven.
- combine soups water, soy sauce, and rice with hamburger.
- bake for 1 hour in 375o oven.
- stir once or twice during cooking time.
- serve over the chinese noodles.
- add more soy sauce to your liking.
CHINESE HAMBURGER CASSEROLE
Steps:
- Brown ground beef. Drain. Mix mushroom soup and chicken soup with water. Combine browned ground beef, soup/water mixture, onion, rice, celery, soy sauce and mushrooms. Place in buttered 2-quart baking dish. Bake covered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Sprinkle Chinese noodles on top and bake uncovered for an additional 20 to 25 minutes.
CHINESE HAMBURGER HASH
This is a recipe my Mom made when I was growing up and which my family enjoys now. It is quick to make and by throwing together a salad you have a full meal.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350.
- In large skillet brown hamburger. Remove hamburger to a plate with paper towels to remove most of grease.
- In same pan saute onions and celery until onions become transparent. Return Hamburger to pan.
- Add soups and water to pan.
- Stir in Uncooked rice, soy sauce and pepper.
- Put in greased 8x11 covered casserole.
- Bake 1 hour at 350. Uncover and sprinkle Chow Mein Noodles over top and finish baking 15 minute
- Note: Can us 1 1/4 Cup Minute Rice But shorten cooking time to 30 to 40 minute.

CHINESE-STYLE HAMBURGER CASSEROLE
Easy, easy, easy weeknight casserole recipe. Once you brown the beef, everything else is a breeze. You really get Asian flavors thanks to the soy sauce. The casserole is super creamy and hearty. Serve with a side salad and you have a meal the whole family will love.

Steps:
- 1. Brown meat; drain.
- 2. Mix meat and remaining ingredients together. Place in a 2-quart casserole dish. (Dish may be sprayed with cooking spray.)
- 3. Cover and bake for about 1 1/2 hours at a 325 degree oven. (I uncover during the last 15 minutes). Bake until rice is done. Ovens may vary.
CHINESE HAMBURGER HASH

- 1. Brown meat until crumbly, Add onion, celery, peas and soups. Add water to mixture. Stir in rice, soy sauce and pepper. Turn into lightly greased casserole pan, cover. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove cover and bake 30 minutes longer. Top with chow mein noodles, and continue to bake 15 minutes more. Makes 6 servings.

This was my mother's recipe; I don't know where she found it but it was a staple when I was a kid. I know there are other recipes for Chinese Hamburger Hash on the 'zaar, but not with these proportions.

CHINESE HAMBURGER HASH I I
I added Cook & Lace's 'Chinese Hamburger Hash' recipe to my cookbook yesterday. I found another one today that uses brown rice. From the cookbook "Stories and Recipes of the Great Depression of the 1930's". I've not made this so let me know how it turns out.

- Brown ground beef, onions and celery in a skillet. Drain.
- In a large mixing bowl combine soups, water rice and soy sauce mixing well.
- Add the meat mixture and mix well again.
- Put in greased 8x11 covered casserole.
- Bake at LEAST 1 hour at 350 degrees or until rice is tender.
- Uncover last half of cooking time.

HAMBURGER CASSEROLE WITH CRUNCHY CHINESE NOODLES
Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Brown ground beef, onion, & celery. Drain meat mixture and pour in a 2-quart casserole dish.
- Add cans of mushroom & chicken soups. Add cooked rice, and 1/2 of the can of crunchy Chinese noodles. Stir until the soups and rice and meat mixture are fully stirred. Pour the remaining can of crunchy Chinese noodles over top of mixture and spread evenly.
- Cover and bake for 15 minutes. Uncover and bake an additional 10-15 minutes or until bubbly.

Steps:
- Brown meat and onions. Add soups. Rinse out cans with water and add to mixture. Stir in uncooked rice and soy sauce. Turn into a 9x13x2" pan. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Uncover and continue baking for 30 minutes longer. Cover mixture with chow mein noodles and cook 10 minutes longer. Serve immediately.

I tell you this is sooo good...Taste better then the can chow mein food you buy in cans.... OMG... sooo delish...and yummy... My hubby likes his on rice and i like mine on chinese hard chow mein noodles.. I put picture of both...omg...sooo yummy...
