1/2 cup ketchup
1/3 cup soy sauce
2 teaspoons minced garlic (or 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder)

Steps:

  • Place the chicken legs in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  • In a small bowl add the jam or jelly, ketchup, soy sauce, and garlic. Mix to combine well.
  • Pour the sauce over the chicken legs.
  • Place the lid on the slow cooker and cook on high for 4 hours or low for 5-6 or until the chicken is cooked through.
  • Enjoy the chicken hot.

1 cup pineapple chunks
¾ cup pineapple juice

1 ½ pounds skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
½ cup honey
¼ cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons ketchup
2 tablespoons dried minced onion
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
½ teaspoon garlic powder
2 teaspoons cornstarch
3 tablespoons water
sesame seeds, or to taste

Steps:

  • Spread chicken into the crock of a slow cooker.
  • Stir honey, soy sauce, ketchup, minced onion, vegetable oil, and garlic powder together in a bowl; pour over the chicken.
  • Cook on Low until the chicken is tender, 3 to 4 hours.

2 -2 1/2 cups chicken breasts
1 tablespoon oil
salt & pepper
1 onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup carrot, chopped
4 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
2 cups ketchup
2 cups water
2 tablespoons vinegar
2 bay leaves
2 teaspoons salt

Steps:

  • in a frying pan brown the chicken in oil.
  • sprinkle with salt & pepper. once browned, remove. (put in crock pot).
  • using the same frying pan, saute the onion, garlic, carrots and parsley until lightly browned. (put in crock pot).
  • add the remaining ingredients.
  • stir to mix together.
  • cover.
  • cook high 4 hours, low 7/8 hours.
