BROWN SUGAR BANANA NUT BREAD I
Deliciously sweet banana bread with plenty of vanilla flavor.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Stir in the eggs one at a time, beating well with each addition. Stir in vanilla and banana. In a separate bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Blend the banana mixture into the flour mixture; stir just to combine. Fold in walnuts. Pour batter into prepared pan.
- Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour, until a toothpick inserted into center of loaf comes out clean.

A delicious sweet cakey bread. Note: Most bread machines have a fruit and nut cycle. This should be set at Fruit and Nut Cycle and wait for the beep before adding your bananas and nuts. If you do not do this, the bread comes out tasteless.

- Place ingredients in the pan of the bread machine in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Select cycle; press Start. If your machine has a Fruit setting, add the bananas and nuts at the signal, or about 5 minutes before the kneading cycle has finished.

- 1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray 9x13 pan with non-stick spray.
- 2. For the blondies: Beat together sugar, sour cream, butter and eggs until creamy. Blend in bananas and vanilla. Add flour and baking powder and mix until just combined. Stir in walnuts. Pour into prepared pan and bake 25-30 minutes or until wooden pick inserted comes out clean.
- 3. For the frosting: A few minutes before the blondies are done, start making the frosting. Place butter in a large saucepan. Melt butter over medium heat and bring to a boil, whisking, until the butter turns a golden brown color. Remove from heat immediately. Whisk in powdered sugar, vanilla and milk. You can add additional milk if frosting is too thick.
- 4. Pour and spread the warm frosting over the warm blondies. Allow to cool at least two hours before cutting and devouring.

- In another bowl, mix eggs, sour milk, molasses, honey, and orange peel.
- Add to dry ingredients; stir until well mixed.
- Fold in nuts and raisins.
- Place into 2 greased 8in loaf pans.
- Bake at 350* for about 55 minutes, until pick comes out clean.
- Cool in pan 10 minutes, remove and cool completely.

- In a large bowl stir together flours, soda, and salt, set aside.
- In separate bowl combine eggs, buttermilk, molasses, honey and citrus peel, add to dry ingreadients, stirring'til blended.
- Stir in nuts and raisins.
- turn into two greased 8 x 4 x 2 inch loaf pans.
- Bake in 350 degree oven for 55 minutes, covering with foil the last 15 to 20 minutes.
- Remove from pans and cool on wire rack.
