BAILEY'S IRISH CREAM LIQUEUR (GIFT-GIVING OR FOR YOURSELF!)

Bailey's Irish Cream Liqueur (Gift-Giving or for Yourself!) image

This is the cat's Meow! I know you are saying there are already a lot of recipes on this site for the same thing, I researched them before posting mine and this one is just a little different so here it is. Everyone I have ever served this to absolutely goes beserk over the taste and says it's as good as the real thing. It's so much cheaper too! I found this on an internet site, but can't remember which one, it was to long and to many fifths ago!! You can easily double the recipe.

HOMEMADE BAILEYS IRISH CREAM

Homemade Baileys Irish Cream image

This tastes just like the store-bought version. I make it every year, before Christmas, to give as gifts (and of course to keep some for ourselves!). It ends up being less expensive than buying from the store AND you get to say that you made it yourself! :) *Note about raw eggs: Even though pasteurized and refrigerated eggs are typically safe, there can never be a guarantee that an egg is free from salmonella. One reviewer said she skipped the eggs in this recipe and it still tasted great. I haven't tried it that way yet, but that could be an option. You can find detailed information on the cdc website, etc...

BAILEY'S IRISH CREAM BALLS

Bailey's Irish Cream Balls image

Are these ever good!! Bet'cha can't just eat one!! These are so fabulous! Even better if you're a Bailey's lover. I sometimes make these for Easter for the grownups, and I have made these as hostess gifts. They are stunning as a Christmas gift in a pretty decorated box for next door neighbors, landlady, and just in case gifts. Yield will vary, depending on how large you shape the balls.
