AMAZING BURGERS

Amazing Burgers image

I always used to play around with my burger recipes until the night i made these- I'll never make burgers any other way. Enjoy! NOTE: The addition of a slice of your favorite cheese melted over the top of your burgers can never hurt. ANOTHER NOTE: I make my patties and let them sit in the fridge covered in clear wrap for a half hour before grilling. MORE NOTES: A good juicy burger can tend to make the bun soggy so it's a good idea to lightly toast the bun on the grill. LAST NOTE: For a great sauce for all your burgers check out my 'Amazing Burger Sauce' recipe.

Time 13m

Yield 6 burgers, 6 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 1/2 lbs ground beef
3 tablespoons minced onions
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 tablespoon parsley
3 tablespoons parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon butter
cooking spray
salt
pepper

Steps:

  • Put all your ingredients- aside from ground beef- in a big bowl and stir everything together. Melt the butter before adding it.
  • Break the ground beef up into little pieces and add to the bowl and mix everything together thoroughly. I make the mix into as dense a log as possible and then cut it into 6 pieces to ensure uniform size in the patties.
  • Form your patties.
  • Spray each patty lightly with cooking spray and then season with salt and pepper. Use your hands to gently pat the salt and pepper into each patty.
  • Fire up the grill and grab a cold one.

1 garlic clove, minced
1 egg
3 tablespoons barbecue sauce or 3 tablespoons ketchup, divided
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

  • 2. Stir in flour with a spatula until evenly mixed. Sprinkle with bread crumbs. (Only store-bought bread crumbs or crackers ground in a processor until very fine will work.) Stir inches Mixture will be very thick. Scatter with cheese and work in with your hands. Divide mixture into 6 portions. Using well-floured hands, shape into burgers, about 1/2 in (1 cm) thick. If making ahead, refrigerate in a sealed container up to 1 day or freeze.

Burgers are an American classic that have become a staple in households around the world. Whether you are grilling outdoors or cooking them indoors, making a delicious burger is all about the ingredients and the technique. In this article, we will provide valuable tips for making amazing burger recipes that are sure to impress your family and friends. Tip 1: Choose the Right Meat The foundation of a great burger is the meat, and choosing the right type and quality is crucial. Ground beef is the most common meat used in burgers, but you can also use turkey, chicken, pork, or even lamb. When selecting your meat, make sure it is fresh and of high quality. Look for meat that has a good balance of fat and lean meat, such as an 80/20 or 85/15 blend. Tip 2: Seasoning is Everything A great burger should be packed with flavor, and seasoning is key to achieving that. You can season your meat with anything from salt and pepper to herbs and spices. Some popular seasonings for burgers include garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cumin, and chili powder. When seasoning your meat, be sure to mix it in thoroughly so that it is evenly distributed throughout the meat. Tip 3: Don't Overwork the Meat When forming your burger patties, be careful not to overwork the meat. Overworking the meat can result in tough and dry burgers. Mix your seasoning in with the meat gently, and then form the patties gently, making sure not to compress the meat too much. Tip 4: Perfecting Your Patty Shape The shape of your burger patty can make a big difference in how it cooks and how it holds up. Ideally, your patty should be slightly wider than your bun, with a slight depression in the center. This helps the burger cook evenly and prevents it from puffing up in the center. Tip 5: Getting the Perfect Grill Marks Grill marks add flavor and visual appeal to your burgers, and getting them just right is a matter of technique. Preheat your grill to high heat and then clean the grates thoroughly. Oil the grates lightly with cooking spray or a brush dipped in oil. Place your patties on the grill and let them cook undisturbed for a few minutes before flipping them. Flip the patties once and then let them cook for another few minutes until they reach your desired internal temperature. Tip 6: Choosing the Right Bun The bun is just as important as the meat when it comes to making great burgers. A good bun should be sturdy enough to hold up to the meat and toppings without falling apart. Look for buns that are not too dense or too crumbly, and that have a slight sweetness to them. Tip 7: Toppings and Condiments The toppings and condiments you choose can make or break your burger. Choose toppings that complement the flavor of your meat, such as lettuce, tomato, onion, and cheese. Experiment with different cheeses and condiments, such as guacamole, salsa, or barbecue sauce. Remember to layer your toppings so that they are evenly distributed throughout the burger. Tip 8: Let it Rest After cooking your burger, let it rest for a few minutes before serving. This allows the juices to redistribute throughout the meat, resulting in a juicier and more flavorful burger. Conclusion Making amazing burger recipes is all about choosing the right ingredients, using proper technique, and experimenting with different flavors and toppings. By following these valuable tips, you can create burgers that are sure to impress your family and friends. So fire up the grill or heat up your skillet, and get ready to bite into a delicious and juicy burger.
