Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350F
  • Grease 8 inch square baking pan.
  • In medium bowl blend butter, sugar and vanilla. Add eggs; using spoon, beat well.
  • Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt; gradually add to egg mixture, beating until welll blended.
  • Spread into prepared pan.
  • Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from the side of the pan.

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 and prepare an 8 inch square pan by lining it with parchment or foil.
  • In a small bowl, stir together the flour and the cocoa until well combined, then set aside.

¾ cup cake flour
¼ teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
1 cup butter, softened
4 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate
1 ¾ cups white sugar
4 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350. Grease and flour one 9 inch square baking pan, tapping out excess flour.
  • Melt the butter and unsweetened chocolate in the top of a double boiler and then let cool for about 15 minutes.

4 ounces semisweet chocolate, coarsely chopped
3/4 cup packed dark brown sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon fine salt
2 large eggs, cold
1 tablespoon cold brewed coffee
1/4 cup cocoa powder
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon baking soda

Steps:

  • Position rack in the lower third of the oven and heat oven to 325 degrees F. Use an 8 by 8 silicon baking pan or line a similar sized metal or glass baking dish with foil or parchment paper so it hangs over the edges by about 1 inch. Spray the prepared pan completely.
  • Put the butter, oil and chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl, and heat at 75 percent power for 2 minutes. Stir, and microwave again until completely melted, about 2 minutes more. (Alternatively put the chocolate and butter in a heatproof bowl.
