4 cups apple cider, chilled
2 cups cranberry juice cocktail, chilled
2 cups ginger ale, chilled
1 can (12 oz) frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
Frozen cranberries, if desired
Orange peel curls, if desired

Steps:

  • In 4-quart container, stir together cider, cranberry juice, ginger ale and orange juice concentrate. Refrigerate until serving time.
  • Just before serving, pour punch into punch bowl. Garnish with cranberries and orange peel curls.

8 cardamom pods
4 4-inch cinnamon sticks, broken
12 whole cloves
1 can (about 11.5 ounces) frozen cranberry juice concentrate
4 cups merlot or other red wine
1/3 cup honey
Cranberries and orange slices, for garnish

Steps:

  • Cut a 6-inch square from a double thickness of cotton cheesecloth to make a spice bag. Pinch the cardamom pods to break. Center the cardamom, cinnamon and cloves on the cheesecloth, bring up the corners and tie closed with clean kitchen string.
  • In a 3 1/2-to-6-quart slow cooker, mix the cranberry juice concentrate with water according to the directions on the can. Stir in the wine and honey; add the spice bag. Cover and cook on low 4 to 6 hours or on high 2 hours to 2 hours 30 minutes. Remove and discard the spice bag. Ladle the punch into glasses and garnish with cranberries and orange slices.

1 bottle (64 ounces) cranberry juice
6 cups apple cider or juice
2 cans (12 ounces each) frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
1 medium lemon, cut into wedges
4 cinnamon sticks (3 inches)
2 teaspoons whole cloves
1 teaspoon whole allspice
Cranberries, lemon peel strips and additional cinnamon sticks, optional

Steps:

  • In a 6-qt. slow cooker, combine cranberry juice, apple cider, lemonade concentrate and lemon. Place cinnamon sticks, cloves and allspice on a double thickness of cheesecloth. Gather corners of cloth to enclose seasonings; tie securely with string. Place in slow cooker. Cook, covered, on low 3-4 hours or until heated through. Discard spice bag and lemon. If desired, garnish with cinnamon stick, cranberries and lemon peel.

2 bottles (11.5 oz each) lime sparkling water, chilled
2 to 3 unpeeled small apples, thinly sliced
1 cup frozen cranberries

Steps:

  • In large punch bowl, mix juice, cider and sparkling water. Stir in apple slices and frozen cranberries. Serve over ice.
