Big bowl of YUM! I can't take credit for this one & can't remember who gave me the recipe. Great for pot-lucks. You may substitute chunk pineapple instead of crushed if you like.

1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling
1 (6 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drain juice
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
16 ounces Cool Whip (the large tub)
2 -4 ounces pecan pieces

Steps:

  • In huge bowl mix all ingredients until blended well. (I'm not crazy about nuts, so I only use a small bit of pecans.).
  • Variations: add another can of cherry pie filling and/or cocount flakes.
  • If you can resist, it is best after chilled for a couple of hours.

1 - cup powdered sugar
1 - 8 oz can crushed pineapple-drain and reserve juice
1 - 15oz can fruit cocktail drained and diced
1 - small (8 oz) can maraschino cherries sliced plus juice
1 - cup small marshmallows -halved
1 - 8 oz container cool whip
1/2 cup pecans

Steps:

  • Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar and juice of small crushed pineapple-- then add pineapple. Then add drained-diced fruit cocktail maraschino cherries, marshmallows. Fold cool whip into mixture and add pecans (opitional) pour into 9" X 13" X 2" dish. Cover and freeze

4 -6 bananas, chunked

2 (20 ounce) cans crushed pineapple
2/3 cup sugar
2 tablespoons flour
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1/4 cup orange juice
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 (7 ounce) cans fruit cocktail, drained
2 (11 ounce) cans mandarin oranges, drained
2 bananas, sliced
1 cup heavy cream, whipped

Steps:

  • Drain pineapple, reserving 1 cup of juice in a small saucepan and set pineapple aside.
  • To saucepan, add sugar, flour, eggs, orange juice, lemon juice and oil.
  • Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
  • Boil for 1 minute, remove from heat and let cool.
  • In a large bowl, combine drained pineapple, fruit cocktail, oranges and bananas.
  • Fold in whipped cream and cooled sauce.
  • Chill for several hours.

2 bananas, (sliced)
1 heaping cup pineapple chunks, (drained and patted dry)
1 heaping cup sliced strawberries
1 heaping cup sliced green grapes
11 ounce can mandarin oranges, (drained and patted dry)
1 cup toasted sweetened coconut flakes
1 cup heavy whipping cream
2 tablespoons confectioner's sugar
1/4 cup real mayonnaise

Steps:

  • Spread coconut in a single layer across a baking sheet. Place baking sheet under broiler for about 1 minute or until coconut begins to brown. Remove from under broiler. Stir coconut on pan to keep it from sticking as it cools and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, whip heavy cream with a whisk or mixer for approximately 3-5 minutes or until stiff peaks begin to form. As cream whips, sprinkle in the confectioner's sugar. When cream is fully whipped, gently fold in the mayonnaise until fully incorporated.
  • In a large bowl, toss together all fruit except mandarin oranges and 1-2 tablespoons of toasted coconut. Gently fold oranges and whipped topping into the fruit mixture. Top with remaining coconut and serve.

1 cup fresh blueberries
⅓ cup heavy whipping cream
2 teaspoons white sugar
1 teaspoon raspberry-flavored liqueur (such as Chambord®)
