HOT BRIE IN A SOURDOUGH BOWL

Steps:
- Mix spices and sugar; set aside. Cut circle in top of bread and remove bread center to make room for the Brie.
- Spread butter in bread and sprinkle with half of the spice mixture. With a knife, make 2-inch cuts around edge of bread at 1-inch intervals.
- Remove rind from Brie; place in bread. Sprinkle Brie with remaining spice mixture. Replace top of bread. Bake on baking sheet at 350 degrees 20-30 minutes.
- To serve, remove bread top and break into bite-size pieces. Dip bread pieces in hot Brie.

WARM BRIE AND BERRY DIP IN SOURDOUGH LOAF
I have made this for many years. At Christmas time I replace the blueberries/raspberries with cranberries for a festive look.

Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 350 F. Slice the top off the bread. Save the top and hollow out the inside of the loaf by taking out large chunks of bread. Save bread chunks to serve later.
- 2. Combine brie, nuts, brown sugar and berries. Place inside the hollowed out loaf and cover with the bread top. Wrap the whole thing in foil and bake for 40 minutes.
- 3. Serve with baguette slices, reserved chunks of bread, crackers or veggies.
