GREEN BEANS UNBUNDLED
This is a new twist (to me) on a green bean recipe. We love green beans and eat them many ways, but I was excited when my mother shared this with me this summer. My daughter and I devoured the dish. She now considers this a new favorite at Thanksgiving and Christmas and she makes the request often!

Steps:
- 1. Drain both cans of beans.
- 2. Dice bacon into 1/2 inch pieces.
- 3. Place beans in 13x9 baking dish.
- 4. Sprinkle uncooked bacon over beans. Set aside.
- 5. In a small bowl, whisk together brown sugar, melted butter, garlic and soy sauce until well blended. Pour mixture over bacon and beans.
- 6. Bake at 375 degrees 45 minutes to one hour.

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F and lightly spray an 8x8-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- Pour the green beans and crumbled bacon in a large bowl.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the onion soup mix and water. Pour it over the beans and bacon and lightly toss to coat.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared dish and bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until the beans are heated through.
