3 cups UNCOOKED elbow macaroni pasta
2 cups sharp cheddar cheese (shredded)
1 cup colby cheese (shredded)
3 tbsp butter
2 & 3/4 cup half & half
1 15 oz can Campbell's Cheddar Cheese condensed soup
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1/2 tsp paprika (smoked or plain)

Steps:

  • Combine the half & half with the cheddar cheese soup, and mix until it's nice and smooth.
  • Next, sprinkle in the paprika and black pepper, and mix.
  • Pour the elbow macaroni and cheese into the crock pot, half of the shredded cheddar & colby, the cut butter, and half & half/ cheddar soup mixture.
  • Mix until well incorporated.
  • Top off with the remaining shredded cheese.
  • Put the lid on top of the slow cooker, then set the slow cooker on low.
  • Let cook for 3 hours.
  • Serve and enjoy!

This is a delicious, easy, homemade mac & cheese recipe. I originally found it on a freezer-cooking website. But I could never freeze any of it - it gets eaten too fast! It's great for potlucks; kids and adults all love it.

1 lb macaroni (uncooked)
1 (10 ounce) can cheddar cheese soup
1 lb sharp cheddar cheese, grated
2 1/2 cups milk
1/2 cup powdered milk

Steps:

  • Cook macaroni on the stove top per package directions.
  • Meanwhile, dissolve the powdered milk in the fluid milk (this will be easier if the milk is warm - but it's not necessary - it's OK if a small amount of powdered milk is not completely dissolved).
  • Combine the milk mixture with the cheese soup and grated cheese in the crock pot. When the macaroni is done, drain and add it to the crock pot. Stir to combine.
  • Cook on low setting for 2 1/2 hours.

1 (16 ounce) package elbow macaroni
½ cup butter
salt and ground black pepper to taste
1 (16 ounce) package shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
1 (5 ounce) can evaporated milk
2 eggs, well beaten
2 cups whole milk
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed Cheddar cheese soup (such as Campbell's®)
1 pinch paprika, or as desired

Steps:

  • Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook elbow macaroni in the boiling water, stirring occasionally until cooked through but firm to the bite, 8 minutes. Drain and transfer pasta to slow cooker.
  • Add butter to pasta and stir until melted; season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle about 1/2 the Cheddar cheese over pasta and stir.
  • Whisk evaporated milk and eggs together in a bowl until smooth; stir into pasta mixture.

Cooking spray
8 ounces elbow macaroni, cooked
One 12-ounce can evaporated milk
1 1/2 cups whole milk
1/4 cup (1/2 stick ) of butter, melted
1 teaspoon salt
Dash of pepper
2 large eggs, beaten
Two 10-ounce bricks sharp Cheddar cheese, grated (about 5 cups)
Dash of paprika

Steps:

  • In a large 4-quart slow cooker sprayed with cooking spray, mix the macaroni, evaporated milk, milk, butter, salt, pepper, eggs and all but 1/2 cup of the grated cheese. Sprinkle the reserved cheese over the top of the mixture and then sprinkle with paprika. Cover and cook on low heat for 3 hours and 15 minutes. Turn off the slow cooker, stir the mixture and serve hot.
