4 tablespoons salt
3 tablespoons paprika
2 tablespoons black pepper
2 tablespoons chili peppers
1 tablespoon celery salt
1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon dry mustard
1/2 tablespoon white pepper
1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
1/2 tablespoon dried lemon peel (zest)

Steps:

  • Mix all ingredients together. Store in air tight container until ready to use.

1-1/2 tsp Chili Powder (basic commercial brand like McCormick's)
1-1/2 TBS Garlic Powder
1-1/2 TBS Onion Powder
1/2 tsp Cayenne (Red Pepper)
1 TBS Kosher Salt

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients into a mixing bowl or even a ziptop bag and mix well before using. I like to put the finished rub into an empty shaker or spice bottle for easy sprinkling onto foods.

1/4 cup light brown sugar
1 tablespoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

Steps:

  • INSTRUCTIONS Add all the ingredients to a bowl. Stir until fully combined. Make sure all the brown sugar is broken up completely. Store in a sealed container. To use sprinkle and rub onto the meat just before grilling or cooking.
