BETTER TANG PIE

1/2 cup Tang Drink Mix
8 oz Philadelphia Cream Cheese
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 tub (8 oz.) Cool Whip, thawed, divided
1 (9") graham cracker pie crust

Steps:

  • Mix Tang, cream cheese, sweetened condensed milk until Tang is dissolved and mixture is smooth. Fold in half of the tub of Cool Whip.
  • Pour mixture in the graham cracker crust. Spread the other half of the Cool Whip on top of pie.
  • Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours or overnight.

This is made with an orange-flavored powdered drink and put into a graham cracker crust. Given to me by a very dear friend and neighbor.

8 oz sour cream
8 oz cool whip
1 can(s) sweetened condensed milk
1/4 c tang (orange-flavored powdered drink)
GRAHAM CRACKER CRUST
1--1/2 c granham cracker crumbs
1/4 c sugar
1/3 c margarine or butter

Steps:

  • 1. Mix Graham cracker crust ahead and press into bottom and up sides of pan or pie plate. Bake at 375* 8-10 min and set aside to cool.
  • 2. Blend the sour cream,cool whip,condensed milk and tang until smooth and put in a cooled graham cracker crust. Chill before serving. Can decorate with sliced Kiwi fruit and Mandarin Oranges to look festive. Pie can also be frozen.

1 can(s) sweetened condensed milk
1 - carton (16 oz) sour cream
1/2 cup(s) tang orange drink mix
1 - carton (8 oz) cool whip
- mandarin orange slices, optional

Steps:

  • Mix sweetened condensed milk and sour cream until well blended.
  • Stir in Tang drink mix. Fold in Cool Whip
  • Pour into prepared graham cracker pie crusts. Garnish with mandarin orange slices (optional).
  • Chill well before serving.

1/4 c tang drink mix
8 oz cool whip (divided)
1 graham cracker pie crust
1 small can mandarin oranges
1/4 c pecans, in pieces

Steps:

  • 1. bring cream cheese to room temperature.
  • 2. Mix cream cheese, sweetened condensed milk, tank drink mix, and half the cool whip, add pecans, pour in pie crust, add remaining cool whip on top. garnish with mandarin oranges.
