ASIAN SESAME SWEET-AND-SOUR TURKEY MEATBALLS
A yummy way to make a quick and easy one-pan meal or fantastic appetizer. Serve over rice, soba noodles, or rice noodles, or place meatballs in a slow cooker or on a hot plate for appetizers.

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Combine maple syrup, ketchup, vinegar, sesame oil, olive oil, mustard, and sesame seeds in a medium-sized saucepan and bring to a simmer. Simmer sweet-and-sour sauce for about 5 minutes and set aside.
- Combine green onions, egg, soy sauce, ginger, onion powder, black pepper, and garlic powder in a mixing bowl. Beat together until well mixed. Add ground turkey and top with panko bread crumbs. Mix well using your hands to combine all ingredients.
- Use a standard cookie scoop to make uniform meatballs and place them in an even layer in an ungreased glass 9x13-inch pan. Place chopped carrots evenly between meatballs in the pan. Pour sweet-and-sour sauce evenly on top. Cover with aluminum foil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake and additional 10 minutes.

I'm always looking for recipes that are big on taste, but quick and easy to prepare, with little clean up. This one has it all. - In a Dutch oven coated with cooking spray, saute the onion, carrots and green pepper in oil until tender. Add the tomato sauce, broth, pineapple, brown sugar, vinegar and ketchup. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes., Meanwhile, in a large bowl, combine the egg, milk, bread, zucchini, garlic powder, pepper and salt. Crumble turkey over mixture and mix well. Shape into 2-in. balls. Carefully add to tomato mixture. Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until meatballs are no longer pink., Add rice. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 5 minutes or until liquid is absorbed. Let stand for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork.

- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Mix ground turkey with oats, bread crumbs, garlic salt, 1/2 of the sweet and sour sauce, and some water in a bowl. Roll into balls of desired size with your hands. Place meatballs on a rimmed baking sheet. Pour remaining sauce over meatballs, or reserve for dipping.
- Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown on top, about 25 minutes.

SWEET-AND-SOUR TURKEY MEATBALLS

- 1. Heat oil in large skillet. Add onion, green pepper and carrot; saute 5 minutes, until onion is softened. 2. Stir in broth, tomato sauce, brown sugar, white vinegar, pineapple with juice and ketchup. Simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender. 3. Meanwhile, soak bread in milk in large bowl until milk is absorbed. Add turkey, zucchini, egg, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Shape turkey mixture into 12 meatballs, about 2 tablespoons each. 4. Drop meatballs into simmering sauce; simmer, uncovered, 15 minutes or until cooked through; turn over once during cooking. 5. Remove from heat. Stir in rice; cover; let stand 5 minutes. Fluff rice with fork before serving. Makes 4 servings.
