½ cup cashews
½ cup peanuts
1 cup corn Chex cereal
1 cup pretzels
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons Sriracha
1 tablespoon neutral oil
1 teaspoon liquid aminos (or soy sauce)
Pinch of salt

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 300.
  • Add the Sriracha, honey, oil, and liquid aminos/soy sauce to a medium bowl. Whisk to combine. Add the Chex, pretzels, cashews, and peanuts to the bowl, and mix well to completely coat with the Sriracha-honey sauce.
  • Spread mix onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet and sprinkle with salt.
  • Bake for about 18 minutes (check after 15 to make sure the mix isn't burning - ovens may vary), then remove from the oven to cool.
  • Once cool, portion into zip-top bags.

1 ½ cups wheat cereal squares
1 cup toasted oat cereal
1 cup small pretzels
1 cup bite-sized cheese crackers
½ cup unsalted sunflower seeds
1 ½ cups unsalted mixed nuts
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 ½ tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
¾ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
¼ teaspoon chili powder
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon onion powder
1 cup dried cherries
2 (1.5 ounce) packages 100% smoked beef sticks, cut into bite-sized pieces

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C).
  • Combine wheat cereal squares, oat cereal, pretzels, crackers, sunflower seeds, and nuts in a large bowl. Set aside.
  • Combine butter, honey, Worcestershire sauce, salt, cayenne pepper, chili powder, garlic powder, and onion powder in a small saucepan and over medium-low heat. Mix until butter is melted and spices are blended in smoothly. Pour seasoned butter over dry mixture and stir until well combined. Spread out onto a large baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Let cool completely.
  • Mix in dried cherries and smoked beef stick pieces.
