What a wonderfully refreshing and delicious drink - made with fresh strawberries. This is healthy and nutritious and the teenage boys that come to my house can't stop at just one glass.

- Fill 1 cup measuring cup with ice and then water to make one cup.
- Blend in a blender or food processor and pulse until crushed.
- Add the strawberries, sweetener and limeade. Puree until smooth and thick.

- Stir strawberries and sugar together and let stand 30 minutes.
- Process half of strawberries, 1 cup water, 3/4 cup lemon juice and 2 cups ice cubes in a blender until smooth. Repeat with remaining ingredients.

- Remove and discard caps from strawberries.
- Place ice and half of strawberries in blender or food processor.
- Cover and blend on high speed about 30 seconds, stopping blender occasionally to scrap sides, until almost smooth.
- Pour into 2 quart pitcher.
- Place remaining stgrawberries, powdered sugar, and lime juice in blender or food processor.
- Cover and blend on high speed about 30 seconds or until almost smooth.
- Pour mixture into pitcher; stir.
- Pour into glasses.
- Serve immediately.

Steps:
- In a saucepan over medium heat combine first 3 ingredients (water to zest) and bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve sugar. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool 5 minutes. Discard zest and stir in lime juice.
- Puree 1 cup of the syrup with 3 1/2 cups of strawberries in food processor or blender. Stir mixture into remaining syrup. Pour mixture through a sieve into a medium bowl and discard solids. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours or overnight.
- Transfer mixture to ice cream maker and process following manufacturer's directions and then transfer sorbet to freezer container and freeze until firm (2-6 hours).
- To serve, slice remaining strawberries and scoop sorbet into 8 dessert dishes and top with sliced strawberries.
