Steps:
- SAUCE: Heat butter in a medium saucepan. add onion, garlic and jalapeno peppers. saute' for 1-2 minutes.
- Add remaining sauce ingredients, heat to a boil, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes or until thickened.
- CHICKEN: Meanwhile, heat oil in deep fryer or dutch oven to 350°F To a plastic grocery bag, add flour and garlic powder.
- When oil is ready, dredge chicken in flour mixture, shake off excess flour and place into hot oil. Reduce temperature to medium, cover and fry for about 3-4 minutes. Uncover, stir to turn chicken, and continue frying until golden and cooked through. NOTE: Do in batches, do not overcrowd chicken pieces.
- Using a strainer, remove chicken pieces and place immidiately into JJ's hot sauce. toss to coat and serve with bleu cheese dressing and lots of napkins.
HOT AND STICKY WINGS
Steps:
- Light broiler. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil; set aside. Rinse wings with cold water and pat dry with paper towels. Place wings on baking sheet skin-side up. Broil wings for 8 to 10 minutes while preparing sauce. NOTE: this step can be omitted, but produces a better tasting wing.
- Place wings in the crock of 4 quart slow cooker. In a bowl, stir to combine remaining ingredients. Pour over wings and stir to coat. Place lid on slow cooker and cook on high setting for 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 hours.
GRILLED HOT, SWEET AND STICKY CHICKEN WINGS
The name says it all for these wings. These are easy and tasty....quite spicy for the heat lovers...decrease the amounts of Tabasco and chili powder if you can't take the heat! Prep time does not include marinating time.

- In a medium bowl whisk together the first 9 ingredients (ketchup through chili powder).
- Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
- Place in a large, resealable plastic bag and pour in the marinade.
- Press the air out of the bag and seal tightly.
- Turn the bag to distribute the marinade.
- Place in a bowl and refrigerate for 4 to 6 hours, turning occasionally.
- Remove the wings from the bag and discard the marinade.
- Lightly brush or spray the wings with olive oil.
- Sear over direct, medium heat on the grill until well marked, 4-6 minutes, turning once halfway through searing time.
- Continue grilling over INDIRECT medium heat until the meat is no longer pink near the bone, 10-12 minutes.
- Serve hot with napkins.

CRISPY STICKY OVEN HOT WINGS
Wings are a favorite around my house, so it's quite an endorsement when we find a wing recipe we like this much! Everyone I know who has tried these has loved them. In fact, I overheard my son telling Krissi that these are so good that we won't ever have to go to a restaurant to eat these again! The flavors are just perfect.

Steps:
- 1. Rinse the wings and dry them off individually with a clean kitchen towel, or paper towels completely. (This is the trick to making the wings really good!)
- 2. In a big bowl toss the wings with about a quarter cup of olive oil so the wings are completely covered.
- 3. Add all the seasonings to the wings and toss until completely covered.
- 4. Lay the wings flat on a sprayed cookie sheet. Bake in a 400 degree oven for about 30 minutes. After about 30 minutes and the wings look cooked, but not crispy, turn the oven on broil and cook each side until nice and crispy. Watch the wings closely so they don't burn.
- 5. In a small saucepan melt the stick of butter and whisk in enough hot sauce to your liking, add the vinegar and whisk. Add some salt and pepper if needed. Adjust to your taste. Put the wings back in a big, clean bowl and pour the sauce over them; toss. Put some extra sauce on the side. Dip in your favorite dressing like blue cheese or ranch.

RED HOT STICKY WINGS
Steps:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Lay the chicken wings out in a single layer on a rimmed baking sheet. Season with House Seasoning. Bake for 20 minutes. Saute the garlic in vegetable oil in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat until softened and fragrant. Stir in barbecue sauce, reduced pomegranate juice, hot sauce and honey. Bring to a boil then lower and simmer for 15 minutes until thick. If using crushed red pepper flakes, add and cook 30 seconds more. Stir in butter until melted and smooth. Pour into a large mixing bowl. Heat oil in a deep-fryer or large Dutch oven to 350 degrees F. Fry the baked wings for 10 minutes until golden and crisp. Transfer to a paper towel lined sheet pan to drain. Toss the fried wings in the red sauce to coat. Transfer to a platter and serve with celery sticks and red bell pepper slices. - Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Line a large baking pan with parchment paper.
- Combine all sauce ingredients in a small pan. Bring to a boil and let boil 4-5 minutes, set aside.
- Rinse wings and pat dry with a paper towel. Toss with flour, baking powder, salt and pepper. Spread out on prepared pan. Bake 30 minutes flipping over after 15 minutes.
- Remove wings from the oven and place in a large bowl, toss with sauce. Place back on the baking sheet and turn oven up to 450. Bake an additional10-15 minutes or until sauce is thickened and browned.
- Cool 3-4 minutes before serving.
