- Toss beef with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat; saute beef 2 minutes. Add garlic and green onion; cook and stir until beef is browned, 2-3 minutes. Remove from pan., In same skillet, heat butter over medium-high heat; saute asparagus and mushrooms until asparagus is crisp-tender. Add beef, soy sauce and lemon juice; heat through, tossing to combine. Serve with rice.

- Prepare bearnaise sauce according to package directions. Meanwhile, place asparagus in a steamer basket; place in a large saucepan over 1 in. of water. Bring to a boil; cover and steam for 8-10 minutes or until crisp-tender. , In a large skillet, saute crab in butter for 3-4 minutes or until heated through. Add garlic; cook 1 minute longer. - Preheat oven to 400°. In small bowl, combine rosemary and spices; set aside. , Place steak on 1 side of a 15x10x1-in. baking pan; place asparagus on remaining side in a single layer. - Butterfly or pound steak with a meat mallet to 1/4-inch thickness. Cut into 6 strips, approximately 2 inches wide by 5 inches long. Season both sides with Montreal steak seasoning and place in the refrigerator.
- Preheat Panasonic Countertop Induction Oven to Medium-High on the "Grill" setting.
- Place asparagus in a shallow dish; drizzle olive oil on top. Season with salt and pepper.
- Grill asparagus for 2 minutes, turning after 1 minute. Transfer to a plate.
- Reheat oven to Medium-High on "Grill" setting.
- Line up steak strips next to each other in an assembly line. Cover evenly with 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese. Place 3 to 4 asparagus spears on top, perpendicular to each steak strip. Top asparagus with 1 red pepper strip.
- Roll steak tightly around asparagus, angling it diagonally to avoid overlapping the steak. Secure with a toothpick.

- Heat a large wok or skillet over high heat. Add 1 tablespoon oil, swirl to coat, and add steak. Season with salt and sear, stirring occasionally, until golden brown, about 3 minutes. Transfer to a plate.
- Add remaining tablespoon oil to wok and swirl to coat. Add ginger, chiles, and scallion whites and cook, stirring, 30 seconds. Add asparagus and cook until crisp-tender, about 2 minutes. Return steak to wok, along with scallion greens. Toss to combine and heat through. Remove from heat and season with salt. Serve over rice with lime wedges for squeezing and peanuts.
PAN-SEARED ASPARAGUS WITH CRISPY GARLIC
Before asparagus got moved to its own botanical family, Asparagaceae, in the early 2000s, it was part of the lily family along with onions, chives, shallots and garlic. It makes sense then, that asparagus and garlic make such a good duo. When cooked with care, both can be mild and sweet (or pungent and bitter when cooked carelessly). To highlight the best of both ingredients, gently fry garlic into chips for a crispy topping, then use the lightly infused oil to sauté the asparagus. Both thin and chubby spears work, as would nearly any other vegetable you like with garlic: broccoli, kale, snap peas, fennel and more.

- Place a paper towel-lined plate next to the stove. In a medium or large skillet, combine the garlic and olive oil over medium-low heat. Cook, shaking the skillet often, until the garlic is very light golden, 3 to 5 minutes. Remove the skillet from the heat, tilt it, then use a slotted spoon to transfer the garlic to the towel-lined plate, leaving the remaining oil in the skillet. Season the crispy garlic with salt.
- Return the skillet to medium-high heat. Add the asparagus, season with salt and pepper, and cook, shaking often, until bright green, crisp-tender and browned in spots, 4 to 5 minutes. - In a large resealable plastic bag, combine 1 tablespoon soy sauce and 1 tablespoon wine or broth; add beef. Seal bag and turn to coat; refrigerate for 30 minutes.
