1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 1/4 teaspoons seasoned salt
2 to 3 teaspoons red pepper sauce
3 cups Corn Chex™ cereal
3 cups Rice Chex™ cereal
3 cups Wheat Chex™ cereal
1 cup mixed nuts
1 cup pretzels
1 cup bite-size cheese crackers

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 250°F.
  • In ungreased large roasting pan, melt butter in oven. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, seasoned salt and pepper sauce. Gradually stir in remaining ingredients until evenly coated.
  • Bake uncovered 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Spread on paper towels to cool, about 15 minutes. Store in airtight container.

1 (1 ounce) package dry ranch-flavored seasoning mix
6 cups crispy rice cereal squares (such as Rice Chex®)
4 cups crispy wheat cereal squares (such as Wheat Chex®)
1 ¾ cups dry-roasted peanuts
1 ½ cups fish-shaped pretzel crackers (such as Pepperidge Farm® Goldish®)
1 ½ cups Parmesan-flavored fish-shaped crackers (such as Pepperidge Farm® Goldish®)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Heat butter in a microwave-safe bowl in the microwave until melted, 25 to 30 seconds. Add hot sauce and microwave until heated through, 20 to 30 seconds more. Stir in ranch seasoning.
  • Combine rice cereal squares, wheat cereal squares, peanuts, pretzel crackers, and Parmesan-flavored crackers in a large bowl. Pour in butter mixture; mix thoroughly to coat. Spread in 2 ungreased 9x13-inch baking pans.

Steps:

  • In large microwavable bowl, mix cereals, pretzels and nuts.

1/4 cup I Can't Believe It's Not Butter! Original Stick
3 tablespoons Tabasco sauce (not hot sauce, use Tabasco)
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 teaspoons cajun seasoning (I use Tony Chachere's)
3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 cup peanuts
1 cup pretzel
1 cup rye chips (like in Gardettos)
3 cups Rice Chex
3 cups Wheat Chex
3 cups Corn Chex

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven for 250*.
  • Microwave the butter and rest of seasoning until melted. Pour over the already mixed dry ingredients. Toss well until all is coated with the seasoning mixture.
  • Pour onto 2 cookie sheets and bake in an oven at 250* for 1 hour. Make sure to take out every 15 minutes to toss then put back in the oven.
  • Pour onto paper towels and let the mixture cool.
  • Store in an airtight container.

Spicy Chex Mix is an easy homemade snack mix with just the right combination of salty, crunchy, and spicy flavors.

1.5 cups rice chex ($0.23)
1.5 cups corn chex ($0.23)
1.5 cups wheat chex ($1.05)
1 cup cheese crackers ($0.39)
1 cup pretzels ($0.24)
1/2 cup unsalted peanuts ($0.24)
6 Tbsp butter ($0.66)
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce ($0.04)
1.5 Tbsp hot sauce ($0.14)
3/4 tsp seasoning salt* ($0.08)
1/2 tsp garlic powder ($0.05)
1/2 tsp smoked paprika ($0.05)

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 250ºF. Combine the rice chex, corn chex, wheat chex, cheese crackers, pretzels, and peanuts. Stir the dry ingredients together.
  • Melt the butter in a separate bowl, then stir in the Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, seasoning salt, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
  • Pour about a third of the seasoned butter over the dry ingredients, then stir well. Repeat two more times until all of the butter has been added. Continue to stir the chex mix until everything is very well coated.
  • Spread the seasoned mix over a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Transfer the baking sheet to the oven and bake for one hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
  • After baking for one hour, the snack mix will be dry, toasty, and delicious. Serve warm or let cool before serving.
