These brownies are a great way to use up some of that leftover Halloween candy! These are made with Snickers® bars, but you can substitute Milky Way® candy bars for a different variation.

1 ½ cups white sugar
¾ cup all-purpose flour
½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon baking powder
¾ cup butter, melted
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups chocolate-coated caramel-peanut nougat candy (such as Snickers®), chopped, divided

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9-inch square baking pan.
  • Mix sugar, flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder together in a mixing bowl.
  • Mix butter, eggs, and vanilla extract together in a separate bowl; add butter mixture to the bowl with the flour mixture and stir batter until well mixed.
  • Pour 1/2 the batter into the prepared baking pan. Top with 1/2 the candy bar pieces. Spread remaining batter on top, covering candy completely.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until edges are brown and center is set, about 30 minutes.
  • Remove brownies from the oven and spread remaining candy bar pieces on top, lightly pressing them in while the brownies are still hot. Let brownies cool completely before serving, about 30 minutes.

1 cake mix, german chocolate
3/4 c butter, melted
2/3 c condensed milk
4 snickers bars, regular size, chopped
1 c toasted, chopped pecans

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9 x 13 inch pan.
  • 2. Mix cake mix with melted butter and condensed milk. Spread 1/2 mixture in prepared pan.
  • 3. Bake for 10 minutes.
  • 4. Spread Snickers and pecans on top of baked crust.
  • 5. Crumble remaining batter on top of candy and pecans. This will be a crumbly textured mixture. Just toss it on don't spread it.
  • 6. Place back into the oven and bake for another 20 minutes.

2 cups granulated sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
4 large eggs
3/4 cup dutch processed cocoa
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups chopped Snickers candy bars
1/3 cup creamy peanut butter

Steps:

  • 1. Heat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9 x 13 pan with cooking spray. Set aside. 2. Place butter in medium saucepan on the stove. Heat over medium heat until butter is melted. Remove from heat and stir in sugar and vanilla extract. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well with spoon after each addition. Add cocoa; stir until well blended. Add flour, baking powder and salt; stir until combined. Stir in Snickers candy bar chunks. Pour batter into prepared pan. 3. Drop dollops of peanut butter over the batter. Using a knife, swirl peanut butter into brownies. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan and a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. Cool brownies completely in pan on a wire rack. Once cool, cut into squares and serve.

How to make Outrageously Peanutty Snickers Brownies

Brownie
1 cup unsalted butter
1 teaspoon instant coffee granules
2 cups granulated sugar
1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
3 large eggs
1 cup all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 (22.55 ounce) package mini Snickers bites, unwrapped (divided)
Caramel Sauce
2 (11 ounce) packages caramels, unwrapped
½ cup milk
2 cups roasted peanuts, chopped
Frosting
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
1 (13 ounce) jar marshmallow fluff
1 (15 ounce) jar chunky peanut butter
Chocolate Drizzle
6 ounces milk chocolate chips
1 teaspoon coconut oil (canola or vegetable work too)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 9x13 baking dish with parchment paper, set aside.
  • Prepare the brownie: Place butter in a large microwave safe mixing bowl, melt completely. Add sugar, cocoa, vanilla and eggs. Whisk to combine well. Add remaining ingredients. Whisk until completely combined, but do not over mix.
  • Pour into prepared baking dish. Sprinkle about 24 mini Snickers over batter, press into batter with a spatula. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a tooth pick comes out clean. Place in the freezer to cool, about 15 minutes.
  • Prepare the caramel sauce: Meanwhile combine caramels and heavy cream in a microwave safe bowl and heat (30 seconds at a time) until melted. Stir to combine.
  • Reserve ½ cup peanuts, sprinkle remaining peanuts over cooled brownie and pour caramel sauce over top, reserving about 2 tablespoons for garnish (if desired). Place in freezer to cool.
  • Prepare nougat frosting: Meanwhile, combine cream cheese, marshmallow and peanut butter in the bowl of a stand mixer (or in a large bowl with an electric mixer) fitted with a whisk attachment. Beat on medium speed until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes. Spread frosting over top of cooled brownie.
  • Decorate the brownie: Sprinkle remaining Snickers bites over the top of the frosting. Drizzle melted chocolate. Sprinkle with reserved peanuts. Drizzle with reserved caramel. Place in freezer for 20 minutes to set frosting and drizzle or serve immediately.
  • COOK'S NOTE: Recipe and can halved, simply cut the recipe by half and prepare in a 8x8 pan.
