2 lb boneless country style pork ribs
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup salsa
3/4 cup chili sauce
1 tsp cumin
1/4 tsp cayenne
2 tbsp tomato paste

Steps:

  • Spray slow cooker with cooking spray. Place ribs in slow cooker; sprinkly with salt. In small bowl, mix salsa with chili sauce, cumin and cayenne. Spoon over ribs. Cover, cook on low 8 to 9 hours. Remove ribs from slow cooker and place on serving platter. Pour 1 cup cooking juices into a 2 cup measuring cup and stir in tomato paste. Spoon over ribs.

1 tsp ground cumin
1/4 tsp ground red pepper (cayenne)
2 Tbsp tomato paste

Steps:

  • 1. Spray 3-4 quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Place pork ribs in slow cooker; sprinkle with salt. In small bowl, mix salsa, chili sauce, cumin and ground red pepper; spoon over ribs.

3 pounds boneless country-style pork ribs
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 large onion, cut into 1/2-inch rings
1 bottle (18 ounces) hickory smoke-flavored barbecue sauce
1/3 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup spicy brown mustard
Thinly sliced green onions, optional

Steps:

  • Sprinkle ribs with salt and pepper. Place onion in a 6-qt. slow cooker. Top with ribs. In a large bowl, combine barbecue sauce, maple syrup and mustard; pour over ribs. Cook, covered, on low 6-8 hours or until meat is tender., Transfer meat to a serving platter; keep warm. Pour cooking liquid into a large saucepan; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes or until sauce is thickened. Serve with pork. If desired, sprinkle with onions.
