6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 cup milk
4 ounces sliced ham
4 ounces sliced Swiss cheese
1 (8 ounce) package herbed dry bread stuffing mix
¼ cup butter, melted

Steps:

  • Mix together the cream of chicken soup and milk in a small bowl. Pour enough of the soup into a slow cooker to cover the bottom. Layer chicken breasts over the sauce. Cover with slices of ham and then Swiss cheese. Pour the remaining soup over the layers, stirring a little to distribute between layers. Sprinkle the stuffing on top, and drizzle butter over stuffing. Cover, and cook on Low for 4 to 6 hours, or 2 to 3 hours on High.

6 boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 5 oz each)
3 thin slices (3/4 oz each) deli ham, cut in half
3 slices (1 oz each) Swiss cheese, cut in half
1 can (10 3/4 oz) condensed cream of celery soup
1 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon parsley flakes
1 teaspoon marinade for chicken (white Worcestershire sauce) or regular Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Steps:

  • Spray 3- to 4-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Between pieces of plastic wrap or waxed paper, place each chicken breast smooth side down; beginning in center of breast, gently pound with flat side of meat mallet or rolling pin until about 1/4 inch thick.
  • Place 1/2 ham slice and 1/2 cheese slice on each breast. Roll up, folding in sides. Place rolls, seam sides down, in single layer in slow cooker. In medium bowl, mix remaining ingredients; spoon over chicken.
  • Cover; cook on Low heat setting 3 hours 30 minutes to 4 hours 30 minutes.
  • Remove rolls from cooker to cutting board. Beat sauce in cooker with wire whisk until smooth. Spoon about 1/3 cup sauce onto each of 6 plates. Cut each roll crosswise into thin slices; arrange on sauce.

Aquired this through a recipe swap and love that it doesn't use canned soup like the others I've seen. Prep the chicken bundles the night before and you'll be out the door in no time in the morning.

6 boneless skinless chicken breasts
salt, pepper, garlic powder
6 slices ham
6 slices swiss cheese
6 slices bacon
1 cup water, divided
1 teaspoon chicken bouillon granule
1 cup white wine
2 teaspoons cornstarch
cooked rice

Steps:

  • Place chicken breasts between 2 sheets of plastic wrap. Flatten to ¼" thickness. Season with a pinch each salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Fold cheese so it is about ½" narrower than ham. Place cheese on ham and fold in each of the long sides and then roll from one short end, burrito-style. This will help prevent the cheese from running out during the cooking process. Place one ham roll on a narrow end of each piece chicken and roll into a bundle.
  • Wrap a piece of bacon lengthwise around each chicken bundle and secure with a toothpick. Ensure the bacon tightly covers the ends of the bundle as it will also help prevent leaky cheese. Place the bundles into slow cooker.
  • Combine ½ cup water, bouillon and wine. Pour over chicken. Cover and cook 5-6 hours on LOW.
  • Just before serving, remove chicken from slow cooker. If needed, strain cooking liquid and return to slow cooker. Switch heat to HIGH. Combine cornstarch with remaining ½ cup water. Stir ½ cup of slow cooker liquid into the cornstarch mixture to temper and then add that back to slow cooker. Stir well until sauce thickens.
  • Serve chicken and sauce over rice.

I TOOK A PILLSBURY RECIPE AND CHANGED THE INGREDIENTS TO FIT WHAT I LIKE. I HAVE MADE IT SEVERAL TIMES USING DIFFERENT CHEESES AND SOUPS. IT TAKES VERY LITTLE TIME TO PREPARE AND COOK. I HAVE ALSO FROZEN SINGLE INDIVIDUAL CONTAINERS FOR NIGHTS THAT I DON'T WANT TO COOK.

2 cup(s) chicken broth
1 can(s) 18oz progresso three cheese soup (your choice)
1 tablespoon(s) dijon mustard
1/4 teaspoon(s) black pepper
1 package(s) 16 oz boneless skinless chicken breast or fillets cut into 1 inch pieces
1 package(s) kraft mac & cheese
3/4 cup(s) chopped deli-sliced ham
1 cup(s) shredded mozzarella or cheese of your choice

Steps:

  • Spray 5-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. In slow cooker, mix broth, cheese soup, Dijon mustard and pepper. Stir in chicken. Cover; cook on High heat setting 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until chicken is cooked through (at least 165°F).
  • Stir mac & cheese and ham into slow cooker. Cover; cook on High heat setting 25 to 30 minutes or until pasta is tender, stirring twice.
  • Stir in cheese package from mac & cheese box and your 1 cup of cheese until cheese melts. Let stand covered 5 to 10 minutes or until slightly thickened. Stir mixture.

5 slice deli ham
5 slice baby swiss cheese
1 c milk
1 can(s) cream of chicken soup
3 c dry stuffing mix, herb flavor (pepperridge farm brand)
1/2 c butter, melted

Steps:

  • 1. Mix together soup and milk in a small bowl. Set aside.
  • 2. Pour half of soup mixture into slow cooker to cover bottom.
  • 3. Layer chicken over sauce.
  • 4. Cover chicken with slices of ham and then cheese, one of each to each piece of chicken.
  • 5. Pour rest of soup mixture over top.
  • 6. Mix stuffing and melted butter together and place on top.
  • 7. Cover and cook on low 4-6 hours or high 2-3 hours
