This cake does not last long at my house! It is fabulously moist, very chocolaty, and needs no adornment other than a light dusting of powdered sugar.

1 box dark chocolate or devil's food cake mix
1 box (small) instant chocolate fudge pudding mix (dry)
1/2 c hot chocolate mix (dry)
1 c sour cream
4 jumbo eggs
1/2 c water
1/2 c vegetable oil
powdered sugar (for dusting cake)

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a Bundt pan with Baker's Joy or Pam for Baking spray (non-stick spray with flour), or grease & flour pan.
  • 2. In a large mixing bowl, mix together the cake mix, pudding mix, and hot chocolate mix.
  • 3. Add the sour cream, eggs, water, and oil. Beat on low speed of mixer for 30 seconds. Increase speed to medium and beat for 2 minutes.
  • 4. Pour into prepared pan and bake at 350 degrees for approximately 50 minutes or until cake tests done.
  • 5. Cool in pan on wire rack for 10 minutes, then remove from pan and cool completely on wire rack. Place on serving plate and dust with powdered sugar. ENJOY!

This cake is too die for I think. I love making it and it last about two days at our house maybe three at the most. I always make my own cake batter, but you can use a box cake mix if you want.

Number Of Ingredients 15

2 3/4 c flour
1 2/3 c sugar
1 Tbsp baking powder
1/2 c cocoa, unsweetened
3/4 tsp salt
3/4 c butter, softened
4 large egg whites
1 large egg
1 c buttermilk
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp almond extract
1 pkg chocolate pudding instance
1 c milk
1/2 c vegetable oil
12 oz chocolate chips

Steps:

  • 1. Mix everything together except chocolate chips, beat for 2-3 minutes
  • 2. Use a bundt pan that has been oiled and lightly floured pour mix in pan then sprinkle chocolate chip on top of batter.
  • 3. Bake in a 350*F oven for 35 to 40 minutes or till tooth pick comes out clean. Take out of oven and cool on wire rack for 10 minutes, remove from pan, place on a plate then sprinkle with powder sugar. ENJOY
