½ teaspoon poultry seasoning

  • In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine shredded chicken, condensed soup, poultry seasoning and crushed crackers. Cook, stirring frequently, until mixture is hot, 15 to 20 minutes. Serve on buns.

4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves (6 ounces each)
3 celery ribs, chopped
2 cups Buffalo wing sauce
1/2 cup chicken stock
2 tablespoons butter
4 teaspoons ranch salad dressing mix
6 hoagie buns, toasted
Optional: Blue cheese or ranch salad dressing, and celery ribs

Steps:

  • In a 3- or 4-qt. slow cooker, combine first 6 ingredients. Cook, covered, on low until chicken is tender, 3-4 hours. Remove from slow cooker. Cool slightly; shred meat with 2 forks and return to slow cooker. Using tongs, serve on hoagie buns. If desired, top with dressing and serve with celery ribs.

10 -20 Ritz crackers

Steps:

  • Mix chicken, soup and seasonings.
  • Place in slow-cooker on low.
  • Slowly add in crushed crackers as moisture appears during cooking. Usually about a sleeve from the box of Ritz will do it, sometimes more - sometimes less.
  • Cook on low for 2 to 4 hours or until is set to your preference.
  • Serve on buns.

1/3 cup ketchup (I use organic)
1 teaspoon Splenda brown sugar blend
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon soy sauce
3/4 teaspoon cider vinegar
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon onion powder
2 whole grain buns, toasted

Steps:

  • In a medium sized skillet, cook chicken until no longer pink.
  • Shred with 2 plastic forks.
  • Mix sauce ingredients in a medium saucepean; add chicken.
  • Heat on medium, then reduce heat to low.
  • Cover & simmer for 50-55 minutes, stirring occassionally, until chicken has absorbed most of the sauce.
  • Careful not to overcook or chicken might become too dry!

¼ cup slivered almonds
2 slices white bread, torn into pieces
2 tablespoons olive oil
salt and ground black pepper to taste
3 (5 ounce) skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
6 cups chicken broth, or as needed
2 tablespoons salted butter
4 large roll or bun (3-1/2" dia)s brioche buns, halved

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  • Pulse almonds in the bowl of a food processor to fine crumbs. Add bread, oil, salt, and pepper and pulse mixture to coarse crumbs. Spread evenly on a rimmed baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, stirring halfway through. Set aside to cool.
  • Season chicken with salt and pepper, then place in a Dutch oven or deep skillet in a single layer and cover with chicken broth. Bring to a boil over medium heat, skimming foam. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer until no chicken is no longer pink in the center, 10 to 14 minutes. 2 tablespoons molasses
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 yellow onion, diced

Celery leaves, for serving

1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese

Steps:

  • Add the hot sauce, Worcestershire, molasses, garlic, onions and tomato sauce to a slow cooker and stir to mix the ingredients together.
  • Sprinkle the chicken breasts liberally with salt and pepper and add to the slow cooker, coating evenly with the sauce. Cover and cook on low until the chicken is tender, 4 to 6 hours. I've tried numerous shredded chicken sandwich recipes and this one is far and away the best one. It was given to me by a friend who served it at her parent's 50th wedding anniversary reception. Simple and tasty! It can be easily doubled for large crowds. Be sure to use a Reynold's Crock Pot Liner for easy clean up. Serving number is an estimate. It depends on how much shredded chicken you pile onto the bun :)

1 can(s) cream of chicken soup
1 box(es) stuffing mix, chicken
1/4 cup(s) chicken broth

  • Preheat oven to 350. Open the canned chicken and pour off all the broth into a container, keep it for later use. Put the chickenn in a 2 quart casserole dish and shred it with a fork. 1/4 cup hot pepper sauce, divided
3 Tbsp. finely chopped celery
2 cups shredded cooked chicken breasts
1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. butter
4 whole wheat hot dog buns, toasted
4 KRAFT Big Slice Colby Jack Cheese Slices

Steps:

  • Combine dressing, 2 Tbsp. hot sauce and celery.
  • Cook chicken in butter in small skillet on medium heat 3 min. or until heated through, stirring frequently. Stir in remaining hot sauce.
  • Fill buns with cheese, chicken mixture and dressing mixture.

1 lb. boneless skinless chicken thighs
1 onion, sliced
1/2 cup KRAFT Original Barbecue Sauce
1/4 cup water
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 French bread baguette (16 inch)
4 KRAFT Singles

Steps:

  • Cook chicken and onions in large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat 8 min., stirring occasionally.
  • Add barbecue sauce, water and sugar; stir. Cover; cook on medium heat 7 min. or until chicken is done (165ºF).
  • Remove chicken from skillet. Shred with fork or chop into small pieces. Return to skillet; stir to coat with sauce. Cut baguette into 4 pieces; cut each piece lengthwise in half. Fill with chicken mixture and Singles.
