2 cans (55 ounces each) baked beans
1 ring (1 pound) fully cooked smoked sausage, cubed
2 jalapeño chiles, seeded and finely chopped
1 tablespoon ground cumin
1 tablespoon chili powder

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F. In large bowl, mix all ingredients; spoon into ungreased 4-quart casserole.
  • Bake uncovered 45 to 60 minutes or until thoroughly heated and bubbly.

1-1/2 pounds bulk spicy pork sausage
1 medium green pepper, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
1 can (31 ounces) pork and beans
1 can (16 ounces) kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1 can (15-1/2 ounces) great northern beans, rinsed and drained
1 can (15-1/2 ounces) black-eyed peas, rinsed and drained
1 can (15 ounces) pinto beans, rinsed and drained
1 can (15 ounces) chickpeas, rinsed and drained
1-1/2 cups ketchup
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 teaspoons ground mustard

Steps:

  • In a large skillet, cook and crumble sausage over medium heat until no longer pink; drain. Add green pepper and onion; saute until tender. Drain. Add remaining ingredients., Pour into a greased 13x9-in. baking dish. Cover and bake at 325° for 1 hour. Uncover; bake 20-30 minutes longer or until bubbly.

1 lb (1 ring) fully cooked smoked sausage, sliced
2 jalapeno peppers, seeded and chopped
1 Tbsp ground cumin
1 Tbsp chili powder
1 slow cooker cooking bag

Steps:

  • 1. Line slow-cooker with cooking bag.
  • 2. Pour all ingredients into a large bowl and stir well to combine.
  • 3. Pour mixture into prepared slow-cooker. Cook on Low for 4 to 6 hours.

2 can(s) Bush's Baked Beans...any flavor you like, I use southern style (28 oz each)
1/2 onion, chopped fine
1 small bell pepper, chopped fine
1/2 c light brown sugar
1/4 c ketchup
1 Tbsp yellow mustard
1 lb (roll) Jimmy Dean sausage

Steps:

  • 1. Cook sausage, onions, and bell pepper together in a large skillet.
  • 2. Meanwhile, in a large bowl, combine both cans of beans, brown sugar, ketchup, and mustard. Mix well.
  • 3. Add drained sausage to beans.
  • 4. Transfer all into a greased 9x13 casserole dish.
  • 5. Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes.
