Bagels 3
Garlic 2 cloves
Olive oil 1/3 cup
Dried Italian seasoning 1 tsp
Parmesan cheese 1/4 cup
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 325°F.
  • Combine the olive oil, garlic, cheese and seasoning in a small bowl.
  • Slice the bagels very thinly (around 1/8 inch thick) using a very sharp serrated knife. Lightly oil a baking tray. Lay bagels out onto the baking tray, without overlapping. Brush the bagel pieces with the oil mixture (if needed, you can add more oil to the bowl). Sprinkle some salt and pepper over the top.
  • Bake the chips in the oven for 15-20 minutes, until they turn a golden brown. Remove from the oven and leave to cool.
  • Munch on them just as they are, or serve with your favorite dip.

2 unsliced bagels (about 4 inches)
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 teaspoon garlic salt

Steps:

  • Refrigerate bagels for 1 hour. Cut into 1/4-in. slices. Place on an ungreased baking sheet. Combine butter and garlic salt; brush over bagel slices. , Bake at 325° for 15-20 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on a wire rack. Store in an airtight container.

Number Of Ingredients 3

4 tablespoons butter
1 -4 clove garlic, minced,as many as you like (1-4 is a good start for most people)
1 1/2 large bagels, sliced into 1/8 inch rounds (For Gluten-Free 2 Multi-Grain Bagels from Kinnikinnick)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • In a large saute' pan, melt butter over medium heat.
  • Stir in garlic; cook and stir for 1 minute.
  • Add bagel slices, and toss to coat.
  • Spread on a baking sheet.
  • Bake for 15 minutes, or until crispy and dry.
  • Check frequently to prevent burning.
  • Cool.
