1 cup fresh strawberries, halved
½ cup fresh lemon juice

Steps:

2 cups water
2 fresh rosemary sprigs
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup honey
1-1/4 cups fresh lemon juice
6 cups cold water
Ice cubes
Additional lemon slices and fresh rosemary sprigs, optional

Steps:

  • In a small saucepan, bring 2 cups water to a boil; add rosemary sprigs. Reduce heat; simmer, covered, 10 minutes., Remove and discard rosemary. Stir in sugar and honey until dissolved. Transfer to a pitcher; refrigerate 15 minutes. , Add lemon juice; stir in cold water. Serve over ice. If desired, top with additional lemon slices and rosemary sprigs.

3 springs fresh rosemary
3 cups water, divided
3 cups pureed fresh seedless watermelon
1-1/2 cups fresh lemon juice (about 6 large lemons)
1 cup tequila or vodka, optional
Thin lemon slices and rosemary, for garnish

Steps:

  • In a medium saucepan, bring 1-1/2 cups of the water and sugar to a boil. Simmer until sugar has dissolved. Add the rosemary, remove from heat, cover. and let steep for 30 minutes.
  • Strain into a pitcher. Discard rosemary sprigs (or keep for garnish). Add remaining 1-1/2 cups cold water, watermelon puree, and lemon juice to a pitcher and stir until the sugar dissolves. Stir in tequila, if using. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
  • Pour into a glass filled with ice and garish with slice of lemon and rosemary..

2 small sprigs fresh rosemary, plus more for serving (optional)
Kosher salt
1 cup fresh lemon juice, or more to taste
1/2 cup agave nectar or other natural sweetener, or more to taste
Lemon slices, for serving (optional)

Steps:

  • Bring 6 cups water to a boil in a saucepan. Remove from the heat and add the rosemary and a pinch of salt. Cover and steep, 30 minutes. Strain into a pitcher and cool to room temperature.
  • Stir the lemon juice, agave nectar and 2 cups cold water into the pitcher. Add more lemon juice or agave nectar to taste. Serve over ice with more rosemary and/or lemon slices, if desired.

1 cup water
⅓ cup white sugar
1 ½ teaspoons chopped fresh rosemary
6 cups cubed seeded watermelon
1 cup lemon juice
1 tablespoon kosher salt
1 tablespoon white sugar
8 fluid ounces reposado tequila
rosemary sprigs for serving
watermelon wedges for serving

Steps:

  • Bring 1 cup water and 1/3 cup sugar to a boil in a small saucepan, stirring occasionally to dissolve sugar. Stir in chopped rosemary. Let steep for1 hour.
  • Strain rosemary syrup into a blender. Add watermelon and lemon juice. Purée until smooth, about 30 seconds. Strain lemonade mixture, then freeze in ice cube trays until solid, 8 hours or overnight.
  • Mix together salt and remaining 1 tablespoon sugar in a small shallow dish. Lightly dampen rims of 4 (12-ounce) glasses with a wet paper towel. Roll glass rims in salt-sugar mixture until coated.
  • Working in batches, blend half of the frozen watermelon-lemonade cubes and 4 ounces tequila in a blender or food processor until slushy, adding 1 to 2 tablespoons of water as needed to help blend mixture. Pour into prepared glasses. Repeat with remaining watermelon-lemonade cubes and remaining tequila. Garnish with rosemary sprigs and watermelon wedges.

½ cup white sugar
½ cup water
4 cups cubed watermelon
3 cups cold water
½ cup fresh lemon juice
6 cups ice cubes

Steps:

  • Place the watermelon into a blender. Cover, and puree until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh sieve.
  • Bring sugar and 1/2 cup water to a boil in a saucepan over medium-high heat until sugar dissolves, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in 3 cups of cold water and the lemon juice. Divide the ice into 12 glasses, and scoop 2 to 3 tablespoons of watermelon puree over the ice, then top with the lemonade. Gently stir before serving.
