Zojirushi Bread Maker Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cake Recipe - (4/5) image

When beep sounds add:
1/2 cup (120mL) milk
3 (150g) large eggs, beaten
1/2 cup (114g) butter, melted
2 cups (260g) all purpose flour
3 tsp. (11g) baking powder
1 cup (198g) sugar
7 Tbsp. (35g) unsweetened cocoa
1 tsp. (4g) vanilla extract
1/2 cup (80g) chocolate chips
Ingredients for BB-CEC model:
(Please see your instruction manual for BBCC-X20/V20 models)
1/2 cup (120mL) water
3 (150g) large eggs, beaten
1/2 cup (108g) vegetable oil
2 cups (260g) all purpose flour
3 tsp. (11g) baking powder
1 cup (198g) sugar
7 Tbsp. (35g) unsweetened cocoa
2 tsp. (8g) vanilla extract
When beep sounds add:
1/2 cup (80g) chocolate chips
Ingredients for BB-HAC model:
1/4 cup (60g) milk
2 (100g) large eggs, beaten
1/4 cup (57g) butter, melted
1 cup (130g) all purpose flour
1-1/2 tsp. (5.5g) baking powder
2/3 cup (132g) sugar
4 Tbsp. (20g) unsweetened cocoa
1 tsp. (4g) vanilla extract
When beeps sound add:
1/4 cup (40g) chocolate chips

Steps:

  • 1 Make sure the kneading blade(s) are properly attached, and add the ingredients to the baking pan in the order listed, except for the chocolate chips. 2 Place the baking pan into the Home Bakery, close the lid and plug the power cord into the outlet. Select the CAKE course. Set the crust setting to MEDIUM for BB-CEC20/BB-PAC20 model and REGULAR for BB-HAC10 model. Press START. 3 When the add beeps sound, open the lid and carefully scrape off any flour that may be left on the side of the pan with a rubber spatula. Please be careful if the kneading blade(s) is moving. 4 Add the chocolate chips, close the lid and continue baking. For the BB-HAC10 and BB-PAC20 models, press START to resume kneading. 5 When baking completes, press CANCEL and remove the baking pan to a cooling rack. 6 When the cake has cooled completely, gently shake the cake out onto a plate. 7 Slice and serve. Enjoy!
