Ziploc Versatile Beef Mix image

This quick-and-easy mix uses only 1 pound of ground beef, yet it can be used to make an assortment of beef recipes. One easy mix for endless delicious possibilities.

Yield 4 portions.

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 egg
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
2 tablespoons 2% milk
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 pound lean ground beef (90% lean)

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the first six ingredients. Crumble beef over mixture and mix well. Divide into four portions; place in Ziploc® Fresh Shield® Twist 'n Loc® Containers. Freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw in the refrigerator before using.
