WHOLE CRANBERRY RELISH image

Yield 3 cups

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 lb cranberries, picked over
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup orange juice
2 tsp grated orange zest
1/2 cup blansche almonds, slivered, optional

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients except almonds in a large skillet. Cook, uncovered, over medium heat until most of the cranberries pop open and the mixture is somewhat thickened, 7 - 10 minutes. Let cool and serve or refrigerate for up to one day.
