- 1. Toast farro or barley x 8 min 2. Add water and 1 tsp salt. Cook x 25-30 min for farro and 40 for barley 3. Whisk oil and vinegar together with salt. Whisk in veges 4. Cool farro or barley 5. Mixed with veges x 4 hours. Stir in fresh basil and parsley just before serving
