Tuna Burgers image

Crab cakes, eat your heart out! Made with cream cheese and fresh cilantro, these golden-brown, skillet-cooked tuna burgers cost a lot less to make.

Yield Makes 6 servings.

Number Of Ingredients 12

3 cans (5 oz. each) chunk light tuna in water, drained, flaked
20 round buttery crackers, finely crushed (about 3/4 cup)
4 oz. (1/2 of 8-oz. pkg.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
1 egg
2 Tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro
3 Tbsp. hot pepper sauce, divided
1 Tbsp. oil
6 KRAFT Singles
1/3 cup KRAFT Real Mayo
6 hamburger buns
6 lettuce leaves
1 large tomato, cut into 6 slices

Steps:

  • Mix first 5 ingredients and 2 Tbsp. hot sauce until blended; shape into 6 patties.
  • Heat oil in large skillet on medium heat. Add tuna patties, in batches, if necessary; cook 4 to 6 min. on each side or until golden brown on both sides. Remove from skillet. Top with Singles.
  • Mix mayo and remaining hot sauce; spread onto buns. Fill with lettuce, tomatoes and tuna burgers.
