Traditional Tom Collins image

I suppose every bar in every part of the country has their own recipe for the Tom Collins. This is the recipe I learned years ago working my way through college as a bartender (sometimes I wasn't even old enough to go there as a customer). But, I could dress and look older, and nobody ever questioned my actual age. Sigh - yes back then, we wanted to look older - now, we want to look younger. NOTE: I prefer Tanqueray London Dry Gin but you can use whatever your preference might be.
