Tomatensalat - Tomato Salad image

Another recipe from my years stationed in Germany - this is a quick way to use your fresh summer tomatoes or those wonderful cherub cherry tomatoes.

Number Of Ingredients 5

3 Tbsp olive oil
2 tsp "brown and spicy" mustard
2 Tbsp cider or red wine vinegar
salt and pepper to taste
3 medium tomatoes, halved and sliced (or use halved cherry tomatoes)

Steps:

  • 1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the olive oil, mustard, vinegar, salt and pepper.
  • 2. Add tomatoes; stir to mix. Refrigerate at least 30 minutes.
