TOM AND JERRY MIX image

Number Of Ingredients 10

Batter:
12 eggs, separated
1 oz. rum
1/2 t. cloves
1/2 t. allspice
2# powdered sugar
Drink:
1 oz. brandy
1 oz. rum
(whiskey can be substituted for either brandy or rum)

Steps:

  • Beat egg whites until stiff. Beat yolks until thin and lemon colored. Mix egg mixes together. Add spices, rum and powdered sugar and mix until smooth and stiff. This makes a batter. Store in fridge or freeze during the holidays. To make drink: Put 2 T. batter in mug and add 1 oz. brandy and 1 oz. rum. Fill mug with hot water or hot milk. Sprinkle with nutmeg.
