Tia's Gazpacho image

I have been making this Gazpacho forever and is one of my most requested recipes. We like ours spicy so you may want to adjust the seasonings if you want milder. This is better the next day...the cooking time reflects the chilling time

Number Of Ingredients 15

1 cup tomatoes, peeled and finely chopped
3 stalks celery, finely chopped
3 cucumbers, finely chopped
2 cucumbers, cut into small chunks
1 large onion, finely chopped
2 teaspoons chives, chopped
1 -2 teaspoon of minced garlic
3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
2 teaspoons olive oil
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/2 teaspoon cumin
3 shakes Tabasco sauce
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
4 cups tomato juice

Steps:

  • Combine ingredients in bowl. Cover and chill thoroughly, at least 4 hours. Serve in chilled cups. May top with croutons if desired.
