Thai Basil Pork image

Great Thai dish

Number Of Ingredients 15

1 lb pork cut into thin strips
6 clove garlic minced
1 fresh red chili sliced
1/4 c chicken stock
1 large egg
4 scallions sliced
1/2 c fresh thai basil chopped
oil for stir frying
SAUCE
2 Tbsp oyster sauce
3 Tbsp golden mountain seasoning sauce
1 Tbsp fish sauce
1 tsp dark soy sauce
1/4 c brown sugar
2 Tbsp fresh lime juice

Steps:

  • 1. Combine all the sauce ingredients together and set aside. Add the oil to a Wok or skillet. Stir fry the garlic and chilies for 30 seconds. Add the pork and stir fry for about 5 minutes. Push to the side and add the egg and scramble it and then incorporate into the rest of the ingredients. Add the chicken stock, and sauce reduce heat and simmer 2 to 3 minutes.
  • 2. Add the green onions and basil. Simmer another 2 minutes. Serve with rice
