This is our favorite teriyaki sauce with salmon fillets. This would work equally well with chicken, steak, pork chops, etc.

Steps:
- Mix all sauce ingredients in a bowl.
- Put salmon fillets in a plastic bag and pour over 1/2 of the sauce ingredients.
- Let marinate for 30-40 minutes.
- Heat oil to medium in a large enough pan to cook all the fillets at once. Cook fillets 3-5 minutes on each side depending on the size of fillets, until fillets are done.
- Put the rest of the marinade in a small pan. Mix in the water and cornstarch and heat until marinade is simmering and is thickened.
- Serve fillets with the thickened marinade and any garnishes.
