Swiss Chicken image

this is a very hearty chicken dish that's easy to make and will keep them comin back for seconds!

Number Of Ingredients 9

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, thawed
8 slice your choice swiss cheese, sandwhich size is fine
5 Tbsp butter, divided
2 Tbsp flour
1/2 c full fat milk vitamin d)
salt to taste
pepper to taste
1 1/4 c stove top stuffing mix
1 c chicken broth

Steps:

  • 1. place thawed chicken breasts into a buttered baking dish, cover each piece of chicken with the cheese slices, making sure to cover completely
  • 2. melt 2 Tbsp of butter on low heat. Add flour and blend over heat until mixure is smooth and bubbling
  • 3. slowly stir in milk and chicken broth, Season with salt and pepper to your taste.
  • 4. Pour the mixture over the chicken.
  • 5. mix the stuffing mix with 3 tbsp of melted butter. Spread over the top of the chicken.
  • 6. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-60 minutes
