Swiss & Bacon Rye Party Bites image

This recipe comes from my sis...she made these for one of our Superbowl parties...they were a great hit with everyone. You may want to at least double the batch...goes quick...

Number Of Ingredients 6

2.8 oz can, french fried onions, crushed
3/4 c bacon, crispy cooked and crumbled
1/2 c mayonnaise
3 c shredded swiss cheese
14 oz jar pizza sauce
1 loaf, sliced party rye bread

Steps:

  • 1. Combine onions, bacon, mayo, and cheese in a large bowl. Spread one teaspoon pizza sauce on each slice of bread; top with 1 tablespoon cheese mixture. Arrange on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake for 12 - 14 minutes, until heated through and cheese is melted.
