This recipe was posted for ZWT7, before I had a chance to cook it myself. The original recipe called for water, and just a pinch of spice. Based on other people's reviews, I altered it slightly when I made the rice tonight for our dinner, and I have adjusted the recipe accordingly. thankyou to everyone who has contributed to improving this recipe, my family loved it! :)

- In pot, fry rice in butter / oil for 1 - 2 minutes.
- Pour stock into pot, covering rice. Add salt and turmeric or coriander or cardamom.
- Cover and cook until water evaporated.
