- WASH PEPPERS AND CUT IN HALF LENGTHWISE. REMOVE SEEDS AND MEMBRANES. COOK THE PEPPER HALVES UNCOVERED IN BOILING WATER FOR 5 MIN. INVERT TO DRAIN.SPRINKLE THE INSIDES OF PEPPERS LIGHTLY WITH SALT.
- IN A LARGE SAUCEPAN COOK GROUND CHUCK WITH ONION,CELERY,AND GARLIC UNTILL MEAT IS BROWN AND ONION IS TENDER. DRAIN OFF FAT
- STIR BREAD CRUMBS, TOMATO ,TOMATO PASTE,SALT AND PEPPER INTO MEAT MIXTURE, STUFF PEPPERS WITH MEAT MIXTURE
- PLACE STUFFED PEPPERS IN A BAKING DISH . BAKE UNCOVERED IN A 350* OVEN FOR 30 TO 35 MIN. OR UNTIL HOT : TO TOAST BREAD CRUMBS, SPREAD CRUMBS EVENLY IN A SHALLOW BAKING PAN' BAKE AT 350* ABOUT 10 MIN. OR UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN.
- NOTE : RICE AND CHEESE CAN ALSO BE ADDED TO THIS DISH ALSO YOU CAN TOP WITH TOMATO SAUCE ABOUT 10.MIN BEFORE TAKING OUT OF THE OVEN.
