STIR FRIED ASPARAGUS image

Number Of Ingredients 8

2 lbs asparagus
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp ginger, peeled and slivered
2 cloves garlic, slivered
1/8 tsp salt
1/4 cup chicken stock
1 1/2 tbsp sesame seeds, toasted
1/4 tsp sesame oil

Steps:

  • 1. Snap off bottoms of asparagus and cut into 2-inch pieces. 2. Add oil to skillet over high heat 3. Add asparagus and ginger. Stir fry for 2-3 minutes. 4. Add garlic, salt and stir-fry for 1 minute. 5. Add chicken stock. Cover, reduce heat and cook until tender about 5 minutes. 6. Serve sprinkled with sesame seeds and sesame oil.
