Steakhouse Chex Mix image

My family and friends loves my chex mix and I make steakhouse chex mix for the football game and holidays. It is so easy to make them. They are so delicious and tasty.

4 c rice chex cereal
4 c wheat chex cereal
2 c bite size cheese crackers
1 c bite size pretzel twists
6 Tbsp butter or margarine
3 Tbsp steak sauce
1 Tbsp worcestershire sauce
1 tsp ground cayenne pepper
1 c french fried onions
1 c salted mixed nuts
1 Tbsp onion powder
2 tsp garlic powder

Steps:

  • 1. In large microwavable bowl, mix cereals, crackers and pretzels. In 2-cup microwavable measuring cup, microwave butter on high about 40 seconds or until melted. Stir in steak sauce, Worcestershire sauce and pepper. Pour over cereal mixture; stir until evenly coated. Microwave uncovered on High 4 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes. Stir in onions and peanuts. Sprinkle with onion and garlic powders; toss until evenly coated. Spread on waxed paper or foil to cool. Store in airtight container.
