Spinach and Bacon Dip image

Great tasting dip for the Holidays or party...enjoy!

Number Of Ingredients 10

10 ounce(s) frozen chopped spinach, thaw and well drained
8 ounce(s) cream cheese, softened
1 1/2 cup(s) mayonnaise
1 package(s) dry vegetable soup mix
8 ounce(s) chopped, water chestnuts, drained
1/2 cup(s) celery, chopped fine
4 - green onions, chopped fine
2/3 cup(s) bacon pieces, crumbled or dried bits
1 teaspoon(s) salt
1 teaspoon(s) black pepper, fresh ground

Steps:

  • Thaw frozen spinach and let drain well, squeeze out excess moisture. In a bowl combine the spinach, water chestnuts, celery, mayonnaise, soup mix, green onions, salt, and pepper. Mix in bacon. If desired, reserve 1/2 tablespoon of the bacon and use to garnish top of dip prior to serving. Place in a covered container and refrigerate for at least 2-4 hours before serving. This dip can be prepared a day ahead of serving.
