Number Of Ingredients 6

2 can(s) refrigerated crescent rolls
1 lb lean ground beef
1/4 c minced green bell pepper
1/2 can(s) refried beans
1 pkg dry taco seasoning
1 c shredded cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.
  • 2. In a nonstick pan, brown ground beef and peppers, stirring to break up, until cooked on medium heat.
  • 3. Add dry taco seasoning mix and 1/3 cup water. Stir and turn heat to low and cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat.
  • 4. Unroll crescent rolls and separate into individual triangles, laying in a star pattern, overlapping edges, with points outward, using both cans, placing on baking sheet.
  • 5. Spread beans onto inner portion of crescent rolls. Top with half of the cheese. Spread with the meat and top with the other half of cheese.
  • 6. Bring up points of dough over meat and tuck in bottom. Bake 25-30 minutes, or until done. Slice and serve.
